The bent fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 frame and 6months of colour pack are combined to create a sleek pushchair with a subtle, elegant aesthetic. The base frame weighs less than a kilogram and is so light that you can lift it from the box using just one hand.

The hood, for example, snaps on the YOYO2 in a reassuring way. It is also machine washable at 30deg which helps prevent stains caused by smushed rice cakes and carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as an infant stroller. It could also be converted into a stroller at 6 months using the YOYO connect other chassis.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy but it doesn't bend as much as other wagons that we test. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the other models and it doesn't close tightly when folded. It is easy to move, though, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents seeking a second stroller that's affordable. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and size folded that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat and an adult cup holder. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our push and turn test, it did better than most of the other strollers of a similar price we tested, but it's still not the easiest to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doorways. Its sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together using an average manual, and none of the components required tools. It is missing some features that we consider essential in a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.

It's a breeze to maneuver and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the huge shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child out and in quickly. Although it is a small pushchair, it was able to handle the bumps of everyday life well and went through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels can be locked into forward positions or let them swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. While walking on the stony path, we let them swivel and it handled this fairly well although it did seem slightly bumpier than other models in our test.

It is a bit heavier than other strollers we test, however the wheels are made of rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver across various terrains and even with two kids with shopping bags and other items.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's big enough to hold an infant's changing bag and plenty of groceries. It can also be linked with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). The wheels are durable and filled with foam which minimizes punctures. The chassis is equipped with built-in suspension which takes the sting out of rough terrain. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to manoeuvre it through tight streets with ease.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It is also able to stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the car's boot or down the stairs at home. The travel system is also included with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are simple to use with single action colored and flip-flop friendly.

This budget best single jogging stroller pushchair is surprisingly easy to maneuver and features great dual suspension, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also super lightweight and sturdy. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress that is suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat has two large sun visors, which can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro, and can wake up napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with a few carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can be positioned to face each other or rotate around to face their parents, potentially reducing sibling fights over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a large tray for gears as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also has an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.

It folds up compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to put together with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and includes multiple languages.
